position is responsible to perform duties as directed by the Store
Manager for the successful operation of the Front End Department
and is responsible to see that all Kennie's customers are provided
with the best customer service available. \n Requirements: \n \n
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or General Education
Degree (GED) and two (2) to four (4) years related experience
and/or training. \n LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret
documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions for equipment, and procedure manuals. Ability to write
routine reports and correspondence. The ability to speak
effectively to our customers and employees. \n MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts,
interest and percentages. \n REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve
practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in
situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to
interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral,
diagram or schedule form. \n \n Essential Job Responsibilities: \n
\n \n Supervise, train, discipline, evaluate, and audit Front End
associates. \n \n \n Maintain and control supply and payroll
expenses. \n \n \n Manages planning and scheduling of work to
control traffic flow at registers. \n \n \n Responsible for
managing secret shopper scores, paperwork thoroughness, and 11 to 1
& 4 to 6 schedule. \n \n \n Manage all money in store: cash
drawers, pick-ups, loans, deposits, food stamps, checks, coupons
and gift cards. \n \n \n Responsible for all accounting functions:
billing, transfers, charging expenses, payments of charges, Kennies
Cards, monthly office inventory and to communicate with Corporate
Accounting Office about problems and procedures. \n \n \n Maintain
a clean, neat orderly and safe office area. \n \n \n Know proper
store opening and closing procedures and responsible for security
of store and all assets. \n \n \n Effectively handle all customer
inquiries and complaints and train all Front End employees to do
the same. \n \n \n Responsible for proper and preventative
maintenance of all company equipment in his/her department. \n \n
\n Responsible to obey all safety standards as outlined by the
company. \n \n \n Cooperate with other departments when
inter-department or store wide sales promotions take place. \n \n
\n Perform other duties regarding the Company as directed by the
appropriate store management. \n \n \n Adheres to company uniform
policy and name badge policy. \n \n \n Responsible for punctuality
and attendance. \n \n \n Supervisory Responsibilities: \n \n
Supervises 20-30 employees in the Front End Department. \n Carries
out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the
organizations policies and applicable laws. \n Responsibilities may
include assisting with interviewing, hiring and training employees
planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance;
rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and
