Job Description:

Shamrock Foods Company is seeking a skilled Utility Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated Engineering & Maintenance team. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our energy and utility systems, which play a crucial role in maintaining our industry-leading distribution of food products and restaurant supplies. As a part of our team, you'll be responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of our utility equipment, helping us uphold our commitment to quality and value. Perform routine and preventative maintenance of utility systems including electrical, heating, cooling, and plumbing systems. Diagnose and repair issues with HVAC, refrigeration, and other utility installations. Conduct regular inspections to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards. Coordinate with external contractors when specialized repairs are required. Document all maintenance work and maintain up-to-date service reports. Assist in evaluating new equipment for installation and update older installations as needed. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Proficiency in using tools and equipment necessary for utility maintenance. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and blueprints. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing is highly preferred. OSHA Safety training certification.
