Our mission is to join together teachers, children and their families to create an unsurpassed early childhood educational experience.We are seeking a Lead Teacher to join our Threes program at our Montgomery Square campus in Potomac - right off I-1270 and minutes from exciting downtown Rockville! This is a full time position and the hours are M-F 9am - 6pm. Applicants should be able to start by August 15, 2022.This role is a co-lead position with another teacher who has administrative responsibilities in the afternoons. Requirements:
Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:Bachelor's degree (degree in education or related field preferred)Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and teaching methodsStrong knowledge of MSDE regulationsA personal demeanor that is warm, friendly, and cool-temperedProficient technological skills to utilize various productivity toolsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar and reading skillsExtremely reliable in attendance and punctualityHighly organized and able to prioritize and multi-taskTeam-oriented and willing to work with othersPer Maryland State Department of Education Office of Child Care regulations, all applicants must submit to and successfully pass a state and federal background check as a contingency of employment.Per organizational policy, all new hires must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and expects them to maintain applicable boosters.
