Job DescriptionPotomac Glen Day School is looking for qualified individuals, who are passionate about early childhood education, to fill upcoming positions on our amazing team! Teachers have the option of working for the school year only or working for both the school year and our summer camp. We have paid vacation for Christmas break and Easter break plus 7 days of PTO. Qualifications/Requirements:

• A four-year college degree with ECE or the equivalent is a plus for Assistants and required for Head Teachers.
• Positive energy and a love for young children are absolute musts.
• We have part-time and full-time positions available.
• Your own transportation.
• Physically fit the extent that you can be on the floor with children, run and play, dance, lift children, change diapers.
• Confident, comfortable, and enthusiastic to entertain your students, be silly, sing, dance, read to them with animation.Perks:

    • Supervise children at all times.
    • Assist in planning weekly and monthly activities and projects to implement our PGDS created curricula.
    • Create and maintain an educational, fun, exciting classroom with academic and extracurricular centers.
    • Head Teachers will communicate daily, weekly, and monthly class information with your student's parents.
    • Head Teachers will maintain a running record of each student's academic, social and emotional progress through the year.
    • Head Teachers will complete trimester-based progress reports for each student.
    • Head Teachers will meet with the parents for conferences.
    • Maintain a clean and safe preschool environment.
    • Work as a team player with PGDS staff.Start dates: June 13, 2022 or July 11, 2022 or August 25th, 2022.
