Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available
supporting K-12 students in a school district located just 45
minutes south of Washington, DC. This contract role runs from early
January through the end of May, serving primarily elementary and
middle school students with a manageable caseload of no more than
55. Responsibilities include providing speech and language services
across one or two assigned schools, delivering direct therapy, and
collaborating with school staff to support student communication
needs. Caseload assignments will focus on a varied age group within
the K-8 range, with flexibility to consider candidates without
prior school experience. Supervision will be provided for Clinician
Fellows, while candidates must hold active Virginia SLP licensure.
While this district has not traditionally hired Speech-Language
Pathology Assistants, resumes will be considered for review. Key
Qualifications: - Active Virginia SLP license required; Certificate
of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred - Open to Clinician Fellows
with supervision provided - Ability to work full-time (37.5
hours/week) Monday through Friday; part-time candidates considered
if available for at least 20 hours weekly - Comfortable managing a
caseload of up to 55 elementary and middle school students -
Willingness to work onsite; hybrid or remote options are not
available - Flexible for placement in one or two schools within the
district, based on fit Location: Stafford, Virginia (Washington DC
metropolitan area) This contract position offers valuable
