Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1 years
Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required.

considered. This position offers an opportunity to serve as a
Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing supporting students from
Pre-K through 6th grade. The role is an itinerant teaching position
based on-site in Arlington, TX, within a K-12 school setting. The
assignment is a contract role lasting from January 5, 2026, through
May 21, 2026. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction
and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Conduct
evaluations and interpret audiograms to assess student needs.
Attend admission, review, and dismissal (ARD) meetings to discuss
student progress and plans. Manage a caseload of students from
Pre-K to 6th grade, implementing individualized education plans
(IEPs). Collaborate with school staff and families to support
student success. Qualifications and Experience: Hold a valid Deaf
and Hard of Hearing (D/HH) teaching license through the Texas
Education Agency (TEA). Experience working in Texas school settings
preferred. Strong knowledge of audiological assessments and
educational strategies for students with hearing impairments.
Ability to work independently and travel to assigned campus
regularly. Position Details: Location: Arlington, Texas (on-site
only) Schedule: Full-time or part-time, 21 to 35 hours per week
(minimum 3 days up to 5 days), 7-hour days. Contract Duration:
January 5, 2026 May 21, 2026 Age Group Served: Pre-K through 6th
