Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to support K-12
students in the Washington DC area, specifically within a public
school district located approximately 45 minutes south of DC. This
contract role offers a comprehensive caseload primarily focused on
elementary and middle school students, with a maximum of 55
students per caseload and typically around 50. The assignment
duration is from January 5, 2026, through May 29, 2026, Monday
through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week. Part-time candidates
are also welcome if they can commit to at least 20 hours weekly.
Key responsibilities: Provide speech and language evaluation,
treatment, and progress monitoring for students within assigned
schools, with no more than two school assignments per clinician.
Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement
individualized education plans (IEPs). Maintain accurate records
and documentation in compliance with state and district
regulations. Participate in team meetings and communicate
effectively with stakeholders to ensure student progress.
Qualifications and experience: Active Virginia license as a
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is required. Certificate of
Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates completing their
Clinical Fellowship (CF) are considered with provided supervision.
Experience with schools is advantageous but not mandatory.
Willingness to work within a public-school environment and adapt to
various small caseloads. Interested in applications from
Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as well. Location:
