Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An opportunity is available for a Special Education
Teacher to support elementary students in a highly inclusive
classroom setting. This contract position begins as soon as
possible and continues through the end of the school year or until
a permanent hire is secured. The role focuses on delivering
tailored instruction and behavioral support primarily within a
resource caseload, serving students from kindergarten through
second grade. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction
across all elementary subjects within a highly inclusive
environment Deliver pull-out and push-in services based on
individual student needs Implement Behavior Intervention Plans
(BIPs) for students with behavioral challenges Collaborate with
paraeducators and other support staff to maximize student progress
Adapt instructional strategies to meet varied cognitive profiles
and learning styles Maintain accurate student records and
participate in team meetings regarding student goals Qualifications
& Experience: Maryland Special Education Certification (K5)
required or actively in progress Experience working with primary
elementary students (grades K2) preferred Proven ability to
implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) and manage behavioral
needs Comfort working in inclusive classrooms supporting diverse
learners Strong collaboration skills with instructional aides and
school personnel Location & Schedule: Position is based in an
elementary school in Baltimore, MD Full-time, contract role with
paid hours of 7 hours per day plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch break;
specific schedules may vary Caseload size averages 18 students,
with fluctuating paraeducator availability This role offers the

Compensation for this position ranges from $24.01 to $47.01.
