Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An opening is available for a full-time special
education teacher to support K-12 students in a dedicated
educational setting. This contract position offers a rewarding
opportunity to work with an elementary caseload in a supportive
school environment located in Staunton, VA. The role is scheduled
for the current school year (CSY) and comes with benefits,

responsibilities include: Developing and implementing
individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the diverse
needs of students with disabilities. Collaborating with general
education teachers, specialists, and support staff to create an

adjusting instructional strategies accordingly. Maintaining
thorough documentation and communication with parents, staff, and
administration. Providing specialized instruction and behavioral
support to help students achieve academic goals. Qualifications and
desired experience: Valid special education teaching certification.
Experience working with elementary-aged students in special
education settings. Strong understanding of K-12 special education
laws and regulations. Excellent communication and organizational
skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary
