Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Located in
Silver Spring, MD, this contract position offers the opportunity to
support students across K-12 as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
within a school environment. The role involves delivering targeted
speech and language services designed to enhance students
communication abilities, contributing to their academic success and
social development throughout the school year. Key
Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language
assessments and evaluations Develop, implement, and monitor
Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to student
needs Provide both direct therapy and consultative services to
students Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and
multidisciplinary IEP teams to ensure coordinated support
Qualifications: Active Maryland SLP license is required Maryland
State Department of Education (MSDE) Certification or eligibility
to obtain is essential Experience in schools or pediatric settings
is preferred but not mandatory Availability to work a 35-hour
workweek, structured into 7-hour days This position is ideal for a
