Maintenance Scheduler/Planner – 1st Shift Location: Harrisonburg, VA Pay Rate: $35/hour Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM About the Role Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Scheduler/Planner – 1st Shift to join their Maintenance Department. This position is critical for ensuring smooth production operations, and expertise in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a must-have requirement . Key Responsibilities Leverage CMMS daily to plan, schedule, and track all maintenance activities. Review and process work orders from multiple departments, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Develop detailed maintenance schedules considering manpower, materials, and safety priorities. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure timely completion of maintenance work. Maintain records, analyze performance data, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Qualifications Hands-on experience with CMMS is required —this is the core of the role. Background in maintenance planning or scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Excellent organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
