We’re searching for a Field Service Technician to join our growing Product Support team and play a key role in driving our vision forward. What You’ll Do: As a Field Service Technician , you will be at the heart of our customer success, providing hands-on expertise to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cutting-edge transit equipment. You’ll: Maintain and troubleshoot Luminator’s hardware and software. Handle customer inquiries and provide technical support. Stay current with company products, installation methods, and safety guidelines. Perform on-site pre-start-up, start-up, service work, warranty, and training. Diagnose and resolve technical issues. Accurately document all work performed, including preventive and corrective maintenance. Communicate effectively with plant operators, management, vendors, and team members. Review product prints and specifications. Participate in projects such as upgrades and new installations. Ensure products are installed to specifications. Coordinate with other teams to meet commitments. Document processes and follow company protocols. Operate vehicles safely and use field systems appropriately. Collaborate with the technical team and share information. Build and maintain positive customer relationships. What You’ll Bring to the Team: Technical Savvy: Proficiency with electrical systems, automotive wiring, voltmeters, and small tools. Customer Focus: Strong interpersonal skills to handle demanding situations and deliver exceptional service. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose, resolve, and communicate complex technical issues effectively. Qualifications: 2-4 years of technical experience. High school diploma or equivalent (AS degree and A certification preferred). Familiarity with tools like MathWorks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Visual Basic, and SCADA software is a plus. Proficiency with MS Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
