Job Description Job Description Position Description: COMMERCIAL JUNIOR SERVICE TECHNICIAN We are seeking skilled Junior Commercial Service Technicians to join our team in the HVAC, ALS (Air Handling Systems), and Refrigeration sectors who are ready to grow into skilled Field Technicians. This role offers hands on experience in refrigeration, commercial cooking, HVAC, and ice machine repair with a clear path for advancement to a 3rd year technician position. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with advanced technologies while providing top-quality service to our clients. Duties and Responsibilities: Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs such as replacing compressors, evaporators, and condensing units Cleaning and servicing ice machines Completing quoted parts replacements and preventative maintenance inspections Clear and concise communication skills to:Identify and report the contact person on siteExplain the reason for service and findings to the client at job completion Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and keep truck inventory current Requirements:Comprehensive knowledge of basic refrigeration, commercial cooking, HVAC, and ice machine repair including reach-in refrigerators and freezers; walk-in coolers and basic walk-in freezers; tier 2 cooking equipment; tier 2 HVAC equipment; ice machines and dispensers Possess and maintain necessary hand tools to perform job duties, including but not limited to adjustable wrenches, linesman pliers, six-in-one screwdriver, service wrench, combination wrenches, allen key set, refrigerant gauges, flaring tools, torch setup, and digital meter Must-Haves: Positive attitude, highly organized and energetic Valid drivers license with good driving record Minimum Type 2 EPA Certification Must pass company drug test and background check Good personal appearance and the physical ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to work independently and as part of a team Engaging personality for our fast paced, goal driven environment Competitive individual contributor who loves to win as a team Highly motivated, self-starter whos flexible with a great attitude Benefits:Hourly rate based on experience and company growth potential Factory training and development Advancement supervisory program Health insurance, as well as Life insurance Dental, Vision, and 401K plan Vacation and sick paid time off Paid holidays Referral & Bonus Programs Professional development assistance $20.00 - $30.00 Hourly
