customers to access, operate, and persist in orbits previously out

EarthMoon system. We are seeking an experienced Configuration
Management Lead to own and mature configuration control across the
Ranger Prime program. You will establish and enforce disciplined
configuration management practices across hardware, software, and
documentation, ensuring traceability, change control, and data
integrity from early development through flight and operations.
This role is critical to maintaining mission readiness, program
execution velocity, and flight reliability. Where Youll Make an
Impact Establish and lead configuration management processes for
the Ranger Prime spacecraft program across the full lifecycle. Own
configuration identification, change control, status accounting,
and configuration audits for flight and ground systems. Chair and
manage Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), including change
evaluation, impact analysis, and approval workflows. Maintain
authoritative configuration baselines for hardware, software,
drawings, requirements, and test artifacts. Ensure end-to-end
traceability between requirements, design, manufacturing, test, and
as-built / as-flown configurations. Partner closely with systems
engineering, I&T, manufacturing, software, and mission
operations teams to enable rapid but controlled iteration. Support
flight readiness reviews, test readiness reviews, and anomaly
resolution with accurate configuration data. Develop and maintain
CM plans, procedures, and work instructions aligned with program
and customer requirements. Drive continuous improvement of CM
tools, workflows, and automation to support a fast-moving
spacecraft development environment. What It Takes Bachelors degree
in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical
discipline. 5 years of experience in configuration management,
systems engineering, or program execution within aerospace or
complex hardware programs. Direct experience managing configuration
for spacecraft, satellites, launch vehicles, or other
safety-critical systems. Strong working knowledge of configuration
control principles across hardware, software, and documentation.
Experience leading CCBs and managing technical change processes in
a multidisciplinary environment. Familiarity with requirements
management and verification workflows. Ability to interpret
engineering drawings, bills of material, and technical baselines.
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
in high-tempo programs. Clear written and verbal communication
skills, including technical documentation and executive-level
status reporting. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security
Clearance. Nice to Have Experience supporting flight programs
through launch and on-orbit operations. Hands-on exposure to
spacecraft manufacturing, integration, or test environments.
Experience with configuration management and PLM tools (e.g.,
Windchill, Arena, Jira, Git-based workflows). Familiarity with
aerospace standards and best practices (NASA, DoD, or equivalent).
Experience working in small, fast-paced spacecraft or advanced
hardware startups. Background in systems engineering, I&T, or
