Job Description Job Description We’re looking for a reliable Light Equipment Technician to service and repair equipment like skid steers, mini excavators, generators, plate compactors, and other small-to-mid size construction equipment. Responsibilities: - Diagnose and repair gas & diesel-powered light equipment - Service hydraulic systems, electrical components, and small engines - Perform routine maintenance and inspections - Troubleshoot starting, performance, and operational issues - Complete work orders and keep accurate records Requirements: - Experience with light construction or small engine equipment - Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, and fuel systems - Ability to diagnose issues without guesswork - Valid driver’s license - Dependable and able to work independently Bonus If You Have: - Experience with brands like Bobcat, Kubota, Honda, Wacker Neuson, etc. - Field service experience - Your own tools What We Offer: - Competitive hourly pay: $26.00–$32.00 based on experience - Steady workload (no seasonal layoffs) - Overtime available - Clean, well-equipped shop - Growth opportunities Apply Now: If you can fix it right the first time, we want you on our team. Washington Air Compressor is looking for a self-starter, highly motivated person who can work independently while maintaining the team environment in a competitive market. The successful applicant must have a desire to succeed, strong relationship building techniques and closing skills. Must be able to sell value, yourself and have consulting skills to overcome price objections. Be highly trainable and have a minimum of 10 years of experience. Computer skills are essential. Knowledge of construction equipment, durable goods, heavy machinery, building products or any other mechanical products is helpful but not required.
