Job Title: Surgical Technician Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours (6:45 am - 5:15 pm) Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, Certified Surgical Technician Must-Have: Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) by NBSTSA Description: The role involves working in the operating room as a surgical technician. The technician will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures. Strong experience in a similar operating room environment is preferred. The operating room typically handles a variety of cases, including total joints, sports medicine, and general surgeries. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week. Weekend and call shifts may be required. All technicians are expected to be prepared and available for call shifts. A collaborative and supportive work environment is prioritized. Scrubs will be provided for staff. Standards for dependability and attendance are highly valued. Candidates will be evaluated on their reliability and work ethic.
