Job Description:
Job Title: X-Ray Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology
Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per
Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: 2 years required;
first-time travelers accepted License: Active MD or Compact License
Certifications: ARRT-R, BLS Must-Have: - Candidates must have an
active MD or Compact License at the time of submission. -
References Required: Two satisfactory professional references
needed from most recent employers, one from a supervisor or manager
and one from a charge RN. - Candidates must float within the
facility and must be comfortable floating with no restrictions or
special requests as long as it is within their experience scope. -
Travelers are required to go for their labs within 72 hours of
signing their contract. Description: The X-Ray Technologist will
work five days a week with a focus on quality imaging. They will be
responsible for conducting X-Ray exams and ensuring patient safety.
Candidates should possess strong technical skills and a commitment
to patient care. The position requires effective communication
skills and the ability to work as part of a team. All candidates
must comply with facility policies and procedures. Preference will
be given to individuals who can demonstrate adaptability in a
clinical setting. Applicants must meet all licensing and
certification requirements prior to their start date. It is vital
that all expectations are clearly communicated and adhered to.
Potential employees must be aware that floating within the facility
may occur as needed.
