working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Washington,
Washington DC, 20037! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 14 weeks Shift:
Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2
years of RN experience License: Current license to practice as a
Registered Nurse in the state/district Certifications: NIHSS, BLS,
ACLS required Must-Have: Cardiac Tele experience required, BSN
highly desired Description: Candidates must live at least 50 miles
away. This position involves working three 12-hour night shifts or
an AM/PM rotation. The unit specializes in cardiac stepdown and
progressive care. The unit consists of 48 beds focused on cardiac
care, including 4 pulmonary care beds and 10 cardiac surgery beds,
which travelers are not required to take. Common IV drips
administered include Heparin, Milrinone, Lasix, and Bumex. Frequent
diagnoses treated in the unit include CHF, NSTEMI, arrhythmias, and
vascular surgery. Skills-based hiring is enabled for this position.
