Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Physical Therapist - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours - Employment Type: Travel Title: Physical Therapist – Acute Care Location: Waynesboro, PA Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (08:00 – 18:00) Job Responsibilities and Required & Preferred Skills and Requirements Role Overview: Physical Therapist providing acute care services in a hospital-based rehabilitation setting, primarily serving a geriatric patient population. The therapist will be part of an interdisciplinary team and may be required to float to nearby facilities as patient care needs arise. Clinical Responsibilities: /t - /t Provide acute care physical therapy services in a rehabilitation hospital setting /t /t - /t Evaluate, treat, and progress patients with mobility, functional, and rehabilitation needs /t /t - /t Deliver care primarily to geriatric patients /t /t - /t Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning /t /t - /t Document evaluations and treatments accurately using EPIC /t /t - /t May care for COVID-positive patients /t /t - /t Float across county lines if required for patient care needs /t /t - /t Work weekends and holidays as needed /t Experience Requirements: /t - /t Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience required /t /t - /t Travel experience not required /t Licensure & Certifications (Required): /t - /t Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license /t /t - /t BLS (AHA or ARC only) /t Technology Requirements: /t - /t EPIC experience required / heavily preferred /t Scheduling & Coverage: /t - /t Weekend coverage as needed /t /t - /t No call requirements /t HonorVet Technologies Job ID 31850508.
