Job Description Job Description Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1 year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A dynamic opportunity awaits skilled Cath Lab Technologists experienced in a broad range of cardiac catheterization procedures. This 13-week contract position offers a structured schedule with four 10-hour day shifts per week and 2-3 on-call shifts, including occasional weekends every six weeks, providing a balanced work rhythm. Responsibilities include assisting with left and right heart catheterizations, peripheral interventions, and advanced device placements such as Impella, Balloon Pumps, and Rotablader procedures. You will contribute to a high-volume cath lab performing 25-30 cases daily across four state-of-the-art labs. Tasks involve scrubbing, monitoring, EKG acquisition and interpretation, and supporting electrophysiology cases including cardioversions. Qualifications and Experience: Certification as RCIS or ARRT (state licensure required if ARRT certified; temporary licensing process available) BLS and ACLS certification Proficient in LHC, LHC PCI, RHC, Peripherals, Impella, Balloon Pump, and Rota procedures Skilled in scrub, monitor, and EKG duties, including rhythm interpretation and 12-lead EKG acquisition Experience with electrophysiology procedures such as cardioversion is preferred Additional skills in circulating, IV starts, phlebotomy, pacemaker and defibrillator placements, ablations, and Watchman procedures are highly desirable Location:Position is located in Alexandria, VA, a vibrant community known for its rich history, waterfront charm, and proximity to the nations capital.
