Physical Therapist Location: Petersburg, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,466 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: Physical Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday-Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: 1-2 years of experience preferred in outpatient and acute care. Ability to supervise a PTA. Versatility in handling a variety of diagnoses to meet community needs. Description: This position primarily involves outpatient therapy. The candidate will cover acute inpatient and swing bed rehabilitation as needed. The ideal therapist will treat 8-10 patients per day. Common diagnoses include geriatric weakness/balance/gait, low back pain, post-operative joint replacements, and rotator cuff repairs. Candidates should be flexible with scheduling but must be willing to work on Fridays. Weekend on-call is required for two weekends within a 13-week period. Holiday on-call responsibilities will also correlate with the weekend schedule. Scrubs of any color or business casual attire are acceptable. Training includes Epic EMR for both inpatient and outpatient documentation. Ideal candidates will demonstrate adaptability and strong communication skills.
