Job Description:
At Encompass Health, a leader in integrated healthcare services,
we are looking for a seasoned Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to
join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work both in our
state-of-the-art facilities and provide in-home care when necessary
across 42 states. Our Dialysis RNs are essential in providing
specialized nursing care to patients with kidney disease. Your
expertise in dialysis will ensure that patients receive the best
possible care according to the latest healthcare standards.
Administer hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments to
patients with chronic kidney disease. Monitor patient condition
before, during, and after procedures, adjusting specialized
equipment as needed. Record patient information and maintain
detailed reports of each dialysis session. Educate patients and
their families about disease management and dialysis treatment
options. Assure adherence to all safety policies and procedures in
dialysis. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to
ensure the highest quality of care. Participate in ongoing
education and professional development opportunities. Proficient in
both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis procedures. Ability to
use and maintain dialysis machines and equipment. Strong
organizational and communication skills. Empathy and interpersonal
skills to interact effectively with patients and families.
Capability to perform physically demanding tasks. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of practice. CPR/BLS certification.
Certification in Nephrology Nursing (CNN) or Certified Dialysis
Nurse (CDN) preferred.
