Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational
Therapist to join our team, providing top-notch integrated therapy
services in both facility-based and home-based settings. With
operations spanning 42 states, Encompass Health is a leader in

Occupational Therapists play a critical role in assessing patients'
functional capabilities, planning therapeutic activities, and
facilitating adaptive approaches for daily living tasks. This role
provides the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary
team to deliver care that changes lives, embracing our commitment
to excellence and compassionate care. Evaluate patients' functional
status and occupational therapy needs to develop a personalized
treatment plan. Implement therapeutic activities designed to
address disabilities, aiming to improve mobility and independence.
Educate patients and their families about proper safe handling and
movement techniques. Maintain patient records and documentation in
accordance with both federal and state regulations and company
policies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan
and modify treatment interventions. Assess home and community
environments to recommend adaptive equipment and support for
barriers to independence. Stay abreast of advancements in
occupational therapy and implement best practices in patient care.
Proficiency in developing patient-care plans and administering
therapy Skill in using therapeutic equipment and adapting
environment to patient needs Ability to communicate effectively
with patients, families, and healthcare team Strong observational
