Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Martinsburg, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,416 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Martinsburg, West Virginia, 25401! Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evenings Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 3 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: 2-3 years of experience in the Operating Room specialty. 2-3 previous travel assignments. Ortho/Neuro experience preferred. Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse to work in the Operating Room. The average number of cases per day is 28, with 5 add-ons. Successful candidates will be responsible for circulating nursing duties. Registered Nurses will be required to be on-call one weekend day per month. There is also a night call requirement one weeknight per week. Call response time is expected within 20 minutes. Scrubs will be provided. The OR team operates under a 1:1 ratio with support from OR Technicians. Common types of surgical cases include neuro spine, total joints, and open fractures. Candidates should be familiar with EPIC charting. No self-scheduling for travelers. Block scheduling may be allowed depending on unit needs. RN's are not required to interpret telemetry strips in the OR. There is a pharmacy available 24/7, and respiratory therapy is also in-house at all times. Housekeeping responsibilities fall under the OR Technicians' duties.
