Permanent Physician Neonatology

Position Type: Permanent
Specialty: Physician Neonatology
Location: Virginia.
Shift: 24-hour shifts with block scheduling

Position Details:

Patient Population: Neonates / newborn nursery and special care nursery
Setting: Inpatient hospital / Level II special care nursery
Responsibilities: Newborn stabilization and management, nursery coverage, collaboration with pediatric hospitalists, family-centered neonatal care
Required Procedures: Standard neonatal resuscitation and special care nursery procedures
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: Pediatric hospitalists and subspecialty support
Days Per Month: Block scheduling
On-Call/Weekends: Flexible out-of-house call; weekends required

Submission Requirements:

Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
Virginia license (or willing to obtain)
Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days)
DEA prior to start
