Job Description:
ManTech seeks a Data Engineer to support our IT department in
developing and optimizing our data architecture and infrastructure
to aid in critical national security missions. This role involves
the design, construction, installation, testing, and maintenance of
highly scalable data management systems. The ideal candidate will
have a proven track record in engineering solutions that enable the
intelligent use and analysis of large datasets in a secure,
resilient, and efficient manner. Develop, construct, test and
maintain architectures such as large scale data processing systems
and databases. Ensure architecture will support the requirements of
the business and national security demands. Identify ways to
improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality. Collaborate with
data scientists and architects on several projects. Deploy
sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning, and statistical
methods. Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling.
Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, Python, Java, Scala.
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience with
Apache Hadoop, Spark, Kafka. Strong analytical skills and
problem-solving aptitude. Certified Data Engineer (e.g., Google
Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer, AWS Certified Big Data
- Specialty) MCSE: Data Management and Analytics Certification
