We are now looking for motivated and friendly drivers in the D.C area to join our team. This role suits individuals passionate about technology, community service, and making urban mobility more sustainable. As a part of our driving team, you will play an integral role in redefining the way people use public transit. Safely transport passengers to their destinations using Via's mobile application. Maintain courteous and professional interactions with fellow drivers and passengers. Monitor the app to ensure optimal routing and passenger satisfaction. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any issues or concerns. Keep accurate records of trips and fares. Adhere to all traffic and city regulations as well as Via's operational policies. Excellent driving skills and familiarity with local streets and traffic patterns. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to use smartphone applications and technology to manage routes and communications. Problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected situations. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must pass a background check.
