Job Description GREAT OPPORTUNITY at MI Windows and Doors - Hegins Plant Yard Jockey - 3rd Shift Position Sunday - Thursday - 3rd Shift - 10pm-6am Pay rate starts at $ per hour $ Shift differential! MI has enhanced safety protocols in place to promote a healthy work environment. Loads and unloads trucks when not moving trailers in and out of docks. Typical Duties and Responsibilities: - Loads and unloads trucks when not moving trailers in and out of docks. - Must have yard jockey test before they are able to operate solo. - Properly moving trailers on our property - Performing any load status yard checks as required by facility. - Visually completing safety and road worthiness of trailers on our property. - Red tag trailers, if needed. - Must obey all applicable traffic laws and facility procedures. - Yearly MVR background checks. - Participating in continuous improvement processes. - Maintain an effective Preventative Maintenance Inspections. - Very physical and fast-paced work environment while remaining focused on safety General Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities: - Must possess a valid PA driver’s license. - Previous yard jockey experience is a plus. - Must be comfortable in working in all weather conditions. - You must be available to work overtime and weekends if needed. - Must be willing to work loading/unloading trucks in the shipping department when not moving. - Safe driving record is required. - Must have good people skills when communicating with fellow team members and drivers. - Capability to stand and move frequently while performing repetitive assembly tasks. - Possess a collaborative, team-driven attitude. Team members rely on each other to complete required tasks to meet daily and weekly production schedules, and as a result a good attendance record and a team focus is critical. - Be quality and precision-driven, and able to follow all quality and safety requirements. - Have a customer service mentality and a strong desire to meet daily production goals so the organization can meet and exceed customer expectations. - Show strong reasoning and creative problem-solving skills to overcome production challenges. - Previous experience in a team environment.
