Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated Class B CDL Relief Route Driver to join our team in a key role responsible for the safe and compliant transportation, handling, and management of hazardous materials. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our environmental, energy, and industrial services are delivered with the highest standards of safety and sustainability, supporting our commitment to protect the environment. As a Relief Route Driver, you will cover routes when regular drivers are absent and ensure all services are conducted efficiently and responsibly. Operate Class B vehicles in accordance with company guidelines and compliance with DOT regulations. Manage and transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste while adhering to safety protocols. Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks. Cover assigned routes, ensuring timely collection and transportation. Prepare and manage documentation related to route and waste handling. Provide outstanding customer service and maintain communication with dispatch. Participate in training and safety meetings. Proficiency in driving Class B vehicles Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards Ability to handle and transport hazardous materials safely Strong organizational and time management skills Effective communication and customer service skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record. HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements preferred.
