(Licensed) – School-Based Services Martinsburg, West Virginia About
the Role KVC West Virginia is seeking a licensed, master’s-level
therapist to provide school-based therapeutic services to children
and teens in foster care and adoptive placements. This role focuses
on meeting youth where they are, primarily in school settings while
partnering with caregivers, schools and community providers to
support emotional and behavioral wellbeing. ?? Licensure is
required for this position. The school system requires therapists
to hold an active clinical license to provide services on-site. Key
Responsibilities Provide individual and family therapy to children
and teens in foster care and adoptive placements under Medically
and Socially Necessary services and WV Medicaid guidelines Deliver
services in school settings, homes and community locations Develop,
implement and adjust treatment plans using evidence-based practices
Collaborate with families, schools, DoHS and community partners
Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team and
provide input on client progress Maintain timely, accurate
documentation in compliance with Medicaid, state and contract
requirements Participate in a shared 24-hour on-call rotation
Maintain expected productivity of 18–20 billable hours per week Who
We’re Looking For You’re a licensed clinician who is:
Compassionate, solutions-focused and strengths-based Comfortable
working in school and community-based settings Collaborative with
families, educators and community partners Grounded in
trauma-informed, evidence-based care Knowledgeable in child
development, trauma and de-escalation techniques Required
Qualifications Master’s degree in social work, counseling or a
related human services field Active West Virginia licensure, such
as: LGSW LPC or Provisionally Licensed LPC (P-LPC) Or equivalent
clinical license Ability to obtain the highest level of licensure
within two years, if applicable Minimum two years of experience in
children and family services preferred Knowledge of the WV Medicaid
program preferred Valid driver’s license and auto insurance (travel
within assigned counties required) Work Location & Environment Home
office based in Martinsburg Services provided across assigned
counties Work occurs in schools, homes and community settings
